5 Ways--To Keep the Kids Busy

1. Go to the library & read.
2. Go to the park.
3. Stage your own scavenger hunt (this is also a great birthday party idea).
4. Hide and seek with an item.  Hide an item, such as a ball of rolled up socks or a potato.  Then, they try to figure out where it is.  This is similar to an Easter Egg Hunt, but only one item is hidden.
5. Help the kids make a dream collage.  They each have one piece of poster board (or whatever you can find).  Then, they cut out magazine pictures of items that represent what they want in their future.  It could be toys, video games, vacations, pictures of a their future career aspirations, inspirational quotes, or just pictures that look cool.
